On June 4th, 2006, DCI held its first Conference on Child Rights & Sight at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. The purpose of the conference was to make local people aware of child poverty and discuss DCI activities. It was a full day event attended by local and international dignitaries interested in child rights issues.
